Location: Dubai, Dubai, AE, 31000- Req ID: 5026**_ GENERAL SUMMARY_**:
This position is responsible for generating revenue by selling SPXFLOW Dehydration products and services, managing customer relationships to achieve overall division and corporate goals. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will proactively seek and develop new prospects, interact with existing customers to achieve specified sales targets. The RSM will also develop customer relationships, troubleshoots specific customer concerns, issues and/or problems. The RSM will also prepare and hold sales presentations, present quotations, negotiate and secure sales orders. Furthermore, the RSM implement plans and goals in the territory, that result in the expansion of existing product sales.
**_PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)_**
- Develop direct and indirect SPX FLOW Dehydration business, manage a distributor network to achieve sales objectives and continuously increase market share.
- Introduce and promote all Dehydration engineered and industrial products to end-users or through channel partners in all market segments.
- Drive SPXFLOW distributors to success by giving technical, commercial support, ensuring that the assigned territory is adequately covered and serviced.
- Drive Aftermarket Sales at end customers by assuring access to installed base of dryer systems (engineered products)
- Pipeline management and pulsing process for all direct customers and indirect channel partners. Track quarterly performance of each channel partner along with tracking pipeline.
- Contributes to selection of partners in the territory, flags in preventative manner performance concerns on current partners, flag and propose appropriate channel strategy to ensure territory penetration and continuous growth
- Grow SPX FLOW share within partner’s total business
- Complete Channel Workbook (Action Planning) and quarterly reviews with main partners
- Keep accurate opportunity records in CRM
- Responsible for achieving Company’s yearly sales objectives, conducting periodic market surveys/analysis and engaging in periodic distributor performance evaluation.
- Identify, organize and manage trade shows, exhibitions, product seminars etc. either directly or with cooperation of distributors.
- Provide timely and accurate market information including information in the areas of pricing competitive activities, products, and other items necessary to the success of area marketing strategies and programs.
- Develop and recommend innovative ideas and tactics that will contribute to an increase in market share and sales in the assigned regions/territories.
- Confer regularly with management on recommended sales strategies, promotions, and potential new markets. Work also with the accounts and be aware of potential problem areas with SPXFLOW product lines in the areas of shipments, past due accounts, etc.
- Live and promote the SPXFLOW Corporate Values in order to create a positive and motivating working environment.
- Represent SPXFLOW Flow in a professional manner that aligns with company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards. **_SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE_**:
- Pro-active, target driven individual with top caliber persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Demonstrated ability to own, plan & manage a region, strategically grow sales, while adding value to customers and SPXFLOW
- Must be able to define a problem, assess risks, and develop recommendations for action plans.
- Ability to respond to sales or engineering related enquiries or complaints from customers.
- Skilled influencer with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally, across functions and sites.
- Sound knowledge in the field in Compressed Air industry. Compressed air treatment or dehydration experience preferred.
- Must be able to deliver presentations, both written and verbal.
- Be well organized and self-motivated.
- Ability and willingness to work with remote supervision and effectively from a home office.
- Ability to travel up to 70%, also have a clean driving license
- English language skills are essential both verbal and written, Hindu and Arabic is a benefit
- **_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_**:
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Electrical)
- 8 years of work experience with at least 6 year’s sales experience, selling directly to end users, OEM’s and through industrial distribution channels.
- At least 3 year’s sales experience managing distribution channels.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Must be effective at managing multiple tasks, strong organizational skills.
