- United Arab Emirates- Closing Date: Aug 18th 2023**MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE**

To provide activity-based support for internal and external logistics, including forecasting requirements, demand planning, stock control, product selection, supplier liaison and management, distribution planning, galley planning to support the function of the Inflight Operations Catering Department.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Develops and maintains supplier database in number of software systems as in use by flydubai. Suppliers of food and non-food items. Including the management of supplier contracts; performance (DIFOT), supplier operational and product development meetings.
- Maintains day to day control of stock including but not limited to, ordering; tracking shipments; warehouse management; payment follow-up and interaction with procurement, engineering and finance teams to ensure continued supply.
- Analyses usage rates of rotable and disposable stocks in caterer warehouses based on passenger loads and historical usage via weekly and monthly stock returns.
- Analyses the usage of Buy-on-Board products based on usage and liaise with internal colleagues to verify to sales. Maintain levels of stock required to support sale peaks and troughs.
- Supports the Buy-on-Board products within the software system in use by the company. Maintenance of stock levels, stock details, stock requirements for POS devices, stock takes, stock variances and overall stock management processes to ensure seamless process.
- Supports Catering Logistics Specialist with GLP development, establishment, and distribution.
- Ensures GLP is accurate for loading to enable weights of placarded stowages to be advised to Performance Engineers to be used in Load Control weight and balance of flights.
- Maintains relationships with clearance agents, shippers, local agents and logistics providers of suppliers to ensure on-time clearance and subsequent delivery of goods to warehouse.
- Maintains relationships with Government instrumentalities such as Dubai Municipality, Port Authorities and Dubai Customs to maximise benefits to flydubai.
- Takes the lead on all stocktake requirements across all warehouses and have a physical presence where required (audited stock-takes; special stock-takes) and coordinate and liaise between all external service providers and internal Finance Department on same.

**Qualifications**:
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS**
- Minimum Education_
- Degree qualified in a management discipline with relevant industrial experience in catering and/or supply chain in a catering environment.
- Specialized (Diploma level at least) in logistics and supply chain is desirable
- Experience Specific Requirements_
- Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 3
- Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) - 5
- Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements_
- Ability to obtain a Permanent Pass for Dubai Airports and hold or obtain a current Dubai Driving Licence that can be used to obtain a Dubai Airports Airside Driving Permit.
- Ability to gain certification from Ports and Customs Authority relating to shipping.
- Exposure to high-volume fast-moving warehouse environments.
- Exposure to and knowledge of international shipping rules and requirements (air, sea and land).
