**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Assistant Manager directly reports to the Spa Manager with the accountability of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Spa and Health club and ensuring that the highest level of professional service is always provided to the guests.
**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Management of daily activities.**
- Oversee and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Spa and Health club
- Maintain the highest standard of customer service and ensure that guests are always welcomed when they arrive at the spa and health club facilities.
- Assist the Spa and health club Manager to research and develop new spa experiences, treatments, & products and liaise with suppliers in this regard to maintain innovation and originality.
- Monitor inventory items to ensure proper control, the ability to facilitate guest needs and maintenance of spa and health club standards.
- Assumes briefing, training and meetings responsibilities when required
- Ensures the team is fully trained to provide courteous and efficient service to all guests and other department
- Manages and independently handles all guest and members’ concerns.
- Recommends purchases of new equipment and parts where required
- Assist the Spa and Health club Manager with the administrative tasks
- Conduct briefings and communicate all relevant information to the staff members.
- Check the grooming standards of all staff to maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene in accordance with the Hotel’s standards.
- Check and monitor booking system properly to maximize the booking utilization.
- Assist receptionists during peak hours to promote spa services and minimize turn-away.
- Attend management meetings on a regular basis including weekly briefings, P&L presentations, budget and forecast, and other meetings scheduled by the management.
- Any tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Spa and Health club Manager
**Manage the General Activities in the Hotel & Airport Premises**
- Maintain strict grooming as per hotel standards.
- Uphold a warm and friendly working environment.
- Ensure an up-to-date knowledge of the Airport, the Hotel and Spa and Health Club facilities.
- Compliance with company and airport policies including Lost & Found procedures, accommodation rules, IT security and regulations, and others.
