Operations and Accounting Executive

The Operations and Accounting Executive plays a crucial role by overseeing all accounting functions, managing field operations, and providing exceptional customer support. This individual is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company, managing a team of field staff, and maintaining financial accuracy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Accounting:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and vendor invoices.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for the company's management team.
- Work closely with the company's accountant or external auditing firm for tax preparation and financial compliance.
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting and record-keeping systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Operations:
- Oversee field operations, including the scheduling and management of maintenance staff and contractors.
- Plan and coordinate field staff schedules and assignments to maximise efficiency.
- Manage and maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for timely delivery of required materials.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Address any operational issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
Customer Support:
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure that customer concerns are addressed and resolved to their satisfaction.
- Maintain customer records and ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of field staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to motivate and engage employees.
- Identify performance gaps and opportunities for staff training and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience, a minimum of 3 years, in accounting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proven experience in operations management and team leadership.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-focused with the ability to handle customer interactions effectively.
**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
