Fantastic opportunity arisen within a leading ICT company looking for a Sales Director responsible for the development and operation of the Abu Dhabi business unit. The primary objective of the role is to develop the business in both the short and medium term whilst building upon existing client relationships for the delivery of their IT solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Establish, develop and train a sales organisation to address opportunities in Abu Dhabi.
  2. Develop a comprehensive Business Plan for a 5-year period to grow the company.
  3. P&L responsibility for the Abu Dhabi Business Unit.
  4. Tender and Bid responsibilities.
  5. Develop and manage major accounts in both the private and Government Sector.
  6. Define and develop procedures with the Operational Manager.
  7. Define and develop plans with the Marketing Manager.
  8. Train junior sales people as required.
  9. Prepare annual budget and sales forecast.
  10. Rapidly increase the activity to deliver revenues within a 6-12 month period while addressing the medium-term opportunities.

The ideal candidate will come from a very strong background in IT/Network Sales and Business Development. You will have experience in building a sales organisation with a minimum of 10 years experience. Ideally, you should have experience in the Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas market and/or Abu Dhabi market.

Required qualifications include:

  1. Hands-on P&L experience.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting.
  3. IT/Network Solutions including Fibre Optics, Ethernet, Wireless, IP solutions etc.
  4. Bid management.
  5. Project Management.
  6. Business Development skills.
  7. University educated.
  8. Ideally living in Abu Dhabi but relocators are welcome.
