General Overview:

Our client, a well-established business consulting firm is looking to hire a smart, dynamic and results driven Business Development Officer for their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a unique opportunity, where the successful candidate will work closely with the company's management to develop and execute sales strategies across the region.

Sales and Sales Management:

  • Build rapport with key clients and increase revenue and growth across the GCC market, so as to consistently build a sales pipeline.
  • Diligently work on client retention and handle client complaints in the B2B segment of the business.
  • Consistently deliver revenues against targets by successfully implementing sales strategies.
  • Arrange sales meetings through organic outreach, using branding strategies.
  • To get on cold calls, set up online or face to face meetings for brand expansion in the operating markets.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Collaborate with both pre-sales and post-sales aspects to keep the business and the brand growing while achieving utmost client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and understand the dynamics of the competitive landscape; Study competition from time to time and establish industry standards.
  • Manage all data and nurture prospects consistently and lead them to the sales funnels.
  • Design strategic proposals and ensure profitability as per desired margins.
  • Plan, forecast and budget monthly, quarterly and annual targets, revenues and profitability.
  • To plan and execute effective sales strategies by continuously studying the market and analyzing competition from time to time.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team members remotely and virtually and assist in both B2B and B2C sales strategies.

Office Operations and Administration:

  • Proactively manage administrative tasks including responding to client emails, manage reports and work on CRM continuously.
  • Draft proposals for potential Coaching and Consulting projects, ensuring they are approved and effectively communicated with clients.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with clients and proposals to cultivate a pool of potential prospects.
  • Efficiently manage the Director's calendar, office activities, and coordinate schedules for the self and the Director.
  • Keep the CRM system and sales reports updated to ensure accurate data management.
  • Provide excellent customer support to both corporate and individual clients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Assist in feedback from clients and ensuring the smooth delivery of all projects.

Critical skills, Experience and Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Education Qualification: Under-grad/Postgrad in Mass Media/Marketing/ Business Administration.
  • Experience in handling Sales/Digital Marketing and conventional Marketing in a B2B environment for an Ed Tech platform or an Educational Set up/ Training Company for at least 3 years.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs like word, excel, and PowerPoint and Google tools integration.
  • In-depth understanding of social media marketing.
  • Previous experience with any CRM and Sales platforms.
  • Excellent coordination skills, an eye for detail and perceptive.
  • Able to work independently, to receive instructions and execute them with utmost accountability.
  • Good knowledge to create and maintain clerical and administrative work.
  • Should have the ability to prepare reports and MIS.
  • Possess a high level of dependability and accountability.
  • Should be flexible with working hours in a start-up environment.
  • Should be exceptionally groomed and presentable and represent the brand in desired places.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work responsibilities and receive instructions for execution.
  • Establish and maintain an effective relationship with clients and agencies with a high level of interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and should be detail-oriented.
