Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented
  • Be the financial partner of our Sales & Bid Team during the whole offer process:
    • Ensure accurate and complete offers by verifying sales conditions, prices, and compliance with legal and corporate standards.
    • Review and validate cost estimates, offers, and tender-related documentation.
    • Facilitate contract signing and streamline order documentation and processing.
    • Drive the Offer Release Process, ensuring compliance with signature mandate, PM@Siemens, and LoA guidelines.
    • Oversee risk and opportunity management in bids and contracts, ensuring timely identification and mitigation.
    • Analyze and negotiate contracts, focusing on commercial terms and deviations.
    • Manage post-tender clarifications and lead contract negotiations.
  • Drive financial topics within the offer process:
    • Formulate and follow up on cooperation agreements (e.g., MoU, Commission Agreements).
    • Ensure full compliance with the Limits of Authority (LoA) process and all relevant commercial guidelines for PM milestones.
    • Develop comprehensive bidding documents, incorporating bidding strategies, commercial terms, and accurate calculations.
  • Be responsible for overall financial topics related to the sales process:
    • Collaborate with sales, business development, and cross-functional teams to act as the commercial counterpart for customer interactions.
    • Manage financial KPIs (e.g., planned order intake, gross margin) and escalate significant changes proactively.
    • Analyze customer data to develop sales strategies and business models.
    • Maintain customer relationships and ensure commercial operations are completed on time for large customers and key accounts.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital And Solid
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, or similar education.
  • Years of experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Law, Ethics, and Compliance in Finance: Expertise in navigating legal and ethical frameworks in finance, ensuring all financial decisions, contracts, and agreements comply with corporate and legal standards.
  • Bid, Contract & Claim Management: In-depth experience in managing the entire lifecycle of bids, contracts, and claims.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Mindset: Strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to analyze financial and operational impacts of decisions.
  • Business Models for Finance: Proficiency in developing and assessing various business models to ensure financial feasibility.
  • Contract and Limits of Authority (LoA) Management: Thorough knowledge of contract management processes.
  • Cost Structure & Cost Drivers: Expertise in analyzing and managing cost structures.
  • Proposal Management Methods: Skilled in managing proposals from initial preparation to final submission.
  • Risk, Opportunity & Issue Management: Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
  • Sales and Customer Development: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing customer relationships.
  • Language skills: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: A strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Travel Flexibility: This role may require travel to other countries within the Middle East.
