Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for the corporate banking division, aligning goals with the overall objectives of the organization. Develop and implement strategies to enhance corporate banking services and offerings
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of corporate banking professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and achievement of departmental goals
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, understanding their unique financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions. Drive business development initiatives to attract new clients and expand the corporate banking portfolio.
  • Risk Management: Oversee risk management activities within the corporate banking division, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the bank's assets and reputation.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to identify market trends and client needs, driving the creation and enhancement of corporate banking products and services. Monitor competitor offerings and market dynamics to maintain competitiveness.
  • International Banking Expertise: Leverage international banking experience to facilitate cross-border transactions, manage foreign exchange risk, and navigate regulatory frameworks in different jurisdictions. Identify opportunities for international expansion and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on corporate clients to assess creditworthiness, identify potential risks, and make informed lending decisions. Monitor the financial performance of corporate banking clients and take proactive measures to address any issues or concerns.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration and coordination with other departments within the organization, such as risk management, compliance, treasury, and investment banking, to deliver integrated solutions and maximize value for corporate clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the corporate banking division, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the delivery of banking services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred/ CFA, CPA) may be advantageous.
  • 7 -12 Years of experience
  • Extensive experience in corporate banking, with a track record of leadership and achievement in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of international banking practices, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
