About The Role
The Buying Administration Assistant will support the team by providing administrative support and contributing to the Buying process. This will be a key role to support the Buying team drive the performance against sales and margin targets, maximizing in-season opportunities and affecting future inventory.

What You'll Be Doing

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Overview

  1. Generally, support the buying department team in their daily and weekly tasks
  2. Run periodic reports to share with Stores/Buyers
  3. Support with the creation of product look books
  4. Run competitor price analysis, shopping reports/benchmarking
  5. Support in validating buy data for marketing team
  6. Ensure products are being uploaded by digital channels upon delivery, monitoring the accuracy of copy, product descriptions & imagery
  7. Support in organizing seasonal product training for stores
  8. Ensure all necessary records, master files and databases are maintained accurately and updated in a timely manner
  9. Support with creation of enrichment files for PO Raising (including UDAs, HS codes, COO, etc..)
  10. Maintain the product hierarchy; ensuring product data is accurate and consistent
  11. Monitor the product flow for digital channels, solving digital rejections for missing information
  12. Check supplier order confirmation details received are correct, support the Buyers to resolve any queries with the supplier and buying in a timely fashion
  13. Communicate with brands for ready stock
  14. Support delivery process through coordination between buyers and planning
  15. Support Buyers to manage end of delivery window strategy (late delivery discounts, cancellations)
  16. Manage return to vendor requests (RTV's), ensuring effective communication to suppliers.
  17. Customer Complaints & Damage Products Handling (B&M, Digital Channel and Warehouse)
  18. Store Related Inquiries & Technical Advice on Product Damages.
Department Specific
  1. Support with creation of seasonal trend presentations
  2. Support with creation of EOS ST reports, adding relevant imagery
  3. Support with creation of Pre-Buy Agenda Templates
  4. Support with market calendar scheduling by calling in showing dates & locations
  5. Manage and track supplier incentive schemes
