Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Primary Teacher to support our expansion and provision across this phase of the school.
Our School
The school which opened in September 2015, has already established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the region. Our student body consists of just over 1700 students from over 108 nationalities, making Hartland a truly international community where a strong blend of academic challenge, enrichment opportunities and pastoral support for all, targets and inspires excellence. The Post
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals who are passionate and forward thinking and who will thrive in the vibrant learning environment of Hartland. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of study in the Primary School by sharing in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care. The successful candidate will also be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme which ensures that learning and opportunity are diverse for all.
We are looking for a Primary Teacher who is confident and experienced to take a creative approach to teaching students according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises student's achievement and ability to develop through the Hartland Way. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school where you can contribute to all aspects of school life including trips and residentials, our Hartland bespoke enrichment programme, House and special event days as well as charity initiatives throughout the school year.
The successful candidate will:
• Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Have experience of Primary teaching whether that be in the UK or in an international setting
• Have a minimum 3 years teaching experience
• Have exceptional communication skills
• Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website
