Commis Chef is tasked with carrying out the production of all dishes, preparing the required mise-en-place, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of food as it relates to the Central Kitchen.

Role Summary

  • Prepare and cook orders for daily operations.
  • Advise Sous Chef/Chef de Partie/Demi Chef of low inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required.
  • May assist by performing ware washer or other kitchen duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and wellorganized work area, including but not limited to reachins, walkins and counters.
  • Reports all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the state and local Health Board inspection and MAF Food Central Kitchen's requirements.
  • May assist with other duties as assigned.

Background:

  • 2+ years of related culinary experience, at restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Experience working with high volume production, banquet experience preferred.
  • Familiar with QSR restaurant.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
AED3, AED3,800.00 per month
