We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis II to join our culinary team at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times, adhering to the rules and regulations set by the hotel.
- Control food stock and food costs in your section, ensuring that all resources are utilized efficiently.
- Prepare the daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites, meeting the demands of our guests.
- Follow instructions and recommendations from your immediate superiors to complete daily tasks, demonstrating a proactive and team-oriented approach.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation, staying up-to-date with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections to meet requirements, maintain cleanliness, minimize wastage, and control costs.
