We are looking for a brilliant and highly qualified Legal Counsel/Executive to oversee the legal aspects of the company.
Preferably someone who can speak and write Arabic language. Experience working for an F&B or Hospitality industry is an advantage.

  • Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
  • To review, interpret and translate legal requirements and effectively communicating these to the business and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities
  • Draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements etc.
  • Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company's legal function
  • Legalization of contracts, agreements and other legal documents by notary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consulate etc.
  • Liaise and coordinate with different government authorities like Economic Department, Municipality, DMCC, JAFZA, Civil Defense, RERA, Customs, Federal Tax Authority etc. to acquire approvals for the company
  • Maintain group governance & statutory records and making sure all the management database systems are up to date
  • Coordinate with external Lawyers/Counsels for cases or litigations
  • Filing deadlines and requirements to ensure all legalities for the group such as Licenses, Leases, Incumbency and Good Standing Certificates are renewed when due
  • Due diligence for new joint ventures and M&A transactions
  • Handle the formation and dissolution of the legal entities of the Group in accordance with internal and external legal compliance requirements from start to the end, until final registration certificate and licenses are issued

Qualifications:

  • MA in Law or similar relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Legal Counsel/Executive
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
  • Good organizational, and timemanagement skills
  • Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Salary:
AED13, AED18,000.00 per month
