Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo #BELIMITLESS"Job DescriptionThe main purpose of this position is to be responsible for formulating long and short-term Revenue Management strategies of the Sofitel Dubai Downtown Hotel and for overseeing their successful execution towards the advancement of RevPAR market share.

Leverages provided resources to ensure the successful application and continuous development of Revenue Management techniques for maximizing the generation of rooms' revenue, as well as any other agreed-upon revenue streams such as catering, restaurant or spa revenues.

Communicates the processes to follow in terms of booking quality and correct data input into the PMS, towards the reservation and front office teamDrive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and mix management.

Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channelsProvide guidance on corporate transient negotiated pricing, group pricing for each group, and wholesale pricingEnsure effective pricing strategies are in place to reflect asset strength relative to the competition in each marketEnsure adherence to the Sofitel Pricing Policies of Rational Pricing and compliance to the Best Rate Guarantee (BRG)Effectively manage and be in control of all inventory (transient, group, wholesale allotments and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rdparty sites, TARS, and the GDSProvides relevant information and recommendations to the Director of Sales and General Manager in the decision-making process of promotion participation, offline contracts and pricing thereofClosely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performanceProduce all relevant components of the Budget pertaining to Revenue ManagementValidate comp set RevPAR forecast by month to ensure effective soft spot calendar planningIdentify and develop soft participations/promotions and strategiesLead the DOS and the E-commerce Manager in participation in online strategiesUnderstanding the 360-degree process in forecasting the revenue-based strategiesProvide complexity of mix business by knowing pricing sensitivity and play a vital role in the F&B Revenue generation.

Qualifications3-5 years experiences in a position of direct responsibility for Revenue ManagementHighly developed revenue management set of skills with excellent verbal and technological skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.

Languages:
fluent in English and an additional language preferable
