We are looking for a highly motivated HR Business Partner to be part of our well-established team based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Group HR Director and MD to embed the NESF HR strategy and guiding principles ensuring relevance to the Middle East region.
  • Working as part of the Senior Management team design people plans that align and support the business strategy and regional priorities.
  • Lead the Middle East business team through the core HR processes including Pay and Reward, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Appraisals and Performance Management.
  • Work with the Learning and Development team to ensure the effective roll out of training and development across the region.
  • Working with the regional management to identify and support the development and retention of top talent in region.
  • Provide country specific support and expertise on the employment law and labour market dynamics.
  • Provide timely, responsive, and commercial HR guidance and support on local HR issues to line managers and employees.
  • Identify and support initiatives with the senior team that drives a performance culture across the region.
  • Working in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team to develop a people plan to support the recruitment and the development of UAE Nationals.

Competencies:

  • Proven experience as a HR generalist ideally within a HR management role in the Middle East region.
  • Successful partnering with senior level business colleagues in a commercial fast paced environment. Mixture of HR specialisms and broad subject knowledge.
  • Whist not a training specialist, the individual should be comfortable and capable in supporting appropriate interventions.
  • International and matrix management experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Project management methodology and approach.
  • Understand the theory and practice of HR.
  • Degree level with professional HR qualification.
  • Detailed knowledge of local and regional employment laws and best practice.
