The Global Brand team is rolling out an ambitious plan to regain our global brand ranking which has declined over the past 10 years.

In MENAT, we have ambitious plans to drive integrated brand and partnership programmes that grow our awareness and consideration, particularly on key metrics such as internationalism.

The brand awareness generated from these programmes will also deliver cost efficiencies to LOB spend.

The role sits within the MENAT Brand & Partnerships team, working indirectly with global and the LOB Marketing teams and regional leads, owning strategy and agency relationships across B&P, and leading creative development, ensuring its integrity and end-to-end creative consistency and alignment to HSBC's brand purpose, promise and values.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clear runways of activity across regional brand, airports, and partnerships for MENAT in line with global strategic objectives and the MENAT strategy.
  • Ensure regular comms and engagement with group, ASP, MENAT WPB & B2B & functions, and with country teams to build our vision for the MENAT brand.
  • Ensure good governance and budget management across all three key areas, throughout the year.
  • Contribute to the creative development of regional brand work, particularly the always on social, ensuring its integrity and end-to-end creative consistency and alignment to HSBC's brand purpose, promise and values.
  • Work closely with our global teams and agencies on the delivery and activation of our key sports partnership events such as the Rugby SVNS
  • Maintain regular communications with regional teams to keep them up to date with the right brand assets and ensure good oversight of any assets created locally.
  • Manage our brand KPIs against key metrics and maintain the insights strategy to maintain up to date KPIs. Leverage and commission research, market, and consumer insights to inform and shape brand strategies and business development.
  • Work effectively with, but also inspire and motivate a wide variety of stakeholders, acting as a role model in creative, customer-centric thinking.
  • Be the daily point of contact for our agency teams to deliver outstanding work that brings our brand strategy to life, across creative agencies, sports partnerships or third parties that we contract with directly.
  • Work closely with LOB marketing, business, and function teams globally to ensure consistency and coherency of regional brand experience across channels

Requirements Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is a must to obtain UAE visa.
  • Excellent project management skills and organization
  • Experience with managing insight programmes and collating regular snapshots for stakeholder communications.
  • Experience in drafting creative and inspiring briefs and working with agencies to deliver fresh work, which is aligned to strategic objectives, and collaboratively challenging creative work to aid development.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills, with proven ability to influence executive and senior management.
  • Detailed experience and understanding of media channels both existing and emerging.
  • Experience of third-party negotiations both for the development of strategic relationships and the maintenance of marketing suppliers
  • Understanding of the impact of brand and partnerships on our target audience, the principles of customer centricity and commitment to put the customer at the heart of all activities.
  • Oversee the effective execution of global/local campaigns, platforms, and assets in line with brand strategy and guidelines that can be used consistently across the markets.
  • Implement the agreed campaign and activities in line with the agreed Marketing plan, budget, and activity schedule.
  • Work with agencies and third parties to deliver campaigns and assets to time and in budget.
