Technical Account Manager, ES - EMEA-SMB

The Role
As a trusted advisor, you'll have a direct impact on helping customers derive maximum value from cloud technology. You'll develop strategies to enhance customers' adoption and utilization of AWS services. This encompasses a range of products such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more. Our Technical Account Managers collaborate with a diverse set of businesses, from startups to large enterprises, offering guidance on architecture, support strategy, and operational issues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and support customers
  • Ensure operational health of AWS environments while optimizing costs
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and technical challenges
  • Engage in technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with various teams like Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales Managers
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customers to maximize AWS value
  • Conduct service reviews, metrics analysis, and pre-launch planning
  • Assist customers in migrating workloads to the cloud and enhance their capabilities through workshops

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of technical engineering experience
- Proficiency in operational parameters and troubleshooting within cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud platforms
- Background in technical leadership within an enterprise or customer-facing setting
