Job Description:

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a vital role in driving the post-sales process with both direct and channel customers. The TAM's responsibilities include effectively communicating the Company's technology and product positioning to business and technical users, addressing all technical and business issues of aligned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process, and building and maintaining strong relationships during the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and cultivate business and technical relationships at all levels within aligned accounts.
  • Identify and nurture potential new business opportunities within aligned accounts.
  • Address customer inquiries on technical and business-related matters.
  • Showcase product capabilities that align with customer objectives.
  • Conduct technical Proof of Concept processes as necessary.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline activity through the Company's CRM.
  • Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations; respond to functional and technical components of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Communicate customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
  • Act as the customer advocate within the Company.
  • Offer product and technical support for assigned accounts.
  • Provide periodic official training on Qualys.
Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidates should be self-motivated individuals with a solid understanding of security compliance and/or monitoring systems, as well as typical business procedures.
  • Possess strong presentation skills and respond professionally to emails, RFPs, and report submissions.
  • Organized and analytical, capable of overcoming sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the sales territory.
  • Knowledge of key technologies and topics including TCP/IP and networking, Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance/Audit Tools, Firewalls, Web App Security, Endpoint Detection and Response, and other relevant enterprise security solutions.
  • Familiarity with Auditing Frameworks like CIS, NIST, CobiT, ISO27001, ITIL, NERC-CIP, etc.
  • A definite advantage to have an Information Security industry qualification (e.g., CISSP, CISA).
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive 'make it happen' mindset.
  • Good grasp of emerging technologies such as DevOps, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.
  • Excellent English communication skills (knowledge of Arabic is a bonus but not mandatory) both written and oral.
