Our client a large manufacturingcompany is seeking an Assistant Manager Payroll & EmployeeRelations based in Abu Dhabi UAE. The candidate will manage andoversee the payroll process ensuring accurate and timelycalculation and payment of salaries incentives and benefits. Thisrole also involves handling employee relations matters addressingconcerns and promoting a positive work environment. The idealcandidate will have strong analytical skills attention to detailand the ability to manage confidential information with integrity.Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting employeecompensation and benefits processing activities (payroll allowancesdeductions bonus endofservice indemnity etc.) in coordination withthe Finance department.
  • Managingemployee transactions such as vacation requests ticketing absencesallowances overtime status changes cash advances and housingloans.
  • Ensuring all payrolltransactions are processed accurately andtimely.
  • Handling the cancellationand final settlement of resigned/terminatedemployees.
  • Checking and reconcilingstaff advances or deductions with Financemonthly.
  • Processing employee Time& Attendance data and reconcilingvariances.
  • Maintaining and updatingemployee personal information on the system ensuring dataprotection.
  • Responding to employeerequests and questions regarding Payroll & Employeerelations.
  • Conducting exitinterviews compiling results and making suggestions orrecommendations.
  • Administeringemployee surveys and analyzingresults.
  • Calculating incentivepayments based on performance metrics sales targets anddepartmental goals and collaborating with department heads toconfirm eligibility.
  • Managing groupmedical insurance including enrolling eligible employees assistingwith claims liaising with the insurance provider and ensuringtimely and accurate premiumpayments.
  • Communicating benefitscoverage details and policy changes to employees and conductinginformational sessions.
  • Assisting inthe annual renewal process of the group medical insurance policyanalyzing data to support negotiations and recommending policyenhancements.
  • Ensuring compliancewith healthcare laws and insurance regulations preparing andsubmitting required reports and acting as the primary contact forthe insurance provider.
  • Providingtraining to HR and payroll staff on the group medical insurancepolicy and procedures.
  • Maintainingaccurate and confidential insurancerelated records and conductingregular audits to ensure accuracy andcompleteness.
  • Reviewing policy usageand claim trends to identify areas for improvement and costcontrol.
  • The candidate will alsoperform other related duties as required by the linemanager.


Requirements

Tobe considered you need to meet the followingrequirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or MBA or advanced degree ispreferred.
  • Min.9 years in HR Administrationrole.
  • Provenexperience in office administration or relatedroles.
  • Strongcommunication interpersonal and problemsolvingskills.
  • Proficiencyin office software andtechnology.
  • Abilityto work effectively in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
