Key Accountabilities

  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain daily updates on Purchase Orders.
  • Explore all options to improve delivery dates.

  • Work with crossfunctional teams to facilitate flow of information, in effort to keep business unit(s) and suppliers frequently updated.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 25 years' experience in an expeditor, or relevant, role
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office programs

Skills/Knowledge/Attributes

  • Excellent organization and communication skills, along with ability to work in a team environment,
  • Strong sense of ownership, with demonstrated interpersonal and analytical skills,
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple and changing priorities under tight deadlines with strong decisionmaking skills,
  • Solid leadership and communication skills to aid in interaction with all functions and levels of leadership,
  • Ability to understand complex processes and strive to develop and implement continuous improvement and creative process enhancements.
