PRIMARY JOB DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs and manages projects asassigned by leadership.
  • Manages day to dayoperational support to Institutes &Departments
  • Manages the institute/departmentoperational and overall businessactivities.
  • Supports the application of CCADoperating procedures and communicates with management to ensureunderstanding and compliance withpolicies/procedures.
  • Manages the selection andplacement of new employees, performance evaluations and correctiveactions.
  • Interprets and communicatespolicies/procedures and communicates relevantchanges.
  • Manages departmental operating budgetsand monitors cost variances.
  • Identifies andleads key departmental cost management initiatives to achievequantified results.
  • Develops strongunderstanding and co-leads the direction/monitoring of the revenuecycle for the department billing andreimbursement.
  • Manages operational areas,identifies risks and drives improvement opportunities in key areasincluding patient access, patient experience, service line costmanagement, quality management, employee engagement and otherdepartmental functions that support the overall instituteperformance.
  • Implements strategic initiativeswithin the department including institute growth strategies, newpractice acquisitions and marketingplans.
  • Other duties asassigned.
