IT Support Officer

- Routine administrating andmaintenance of AE’s core IT operating systems andproductivity suites.
- Installation and upgradecomputer components and software, manage virtual servers, andintegrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoothardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documentingproblems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessingimpact of issues.
- Administration and managementof windows-based systems and group policies for AE (HQ andAA).
- Provide documentation and technicalspecifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new orexisting IT infrastructure.
- Perform regularbackup operations and implement appropriate processes for dataprotection, disaster recovery, and failoverprocedures.
- Administration of Datacenters /Server rooms and its equipment
- Administrationof enterprise security solutions such as anti-virus and Veeamback-up
- Lead desktop and helpdesk supportefforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, andrelated equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner withlimited disruption.
- Perform routine/scheduledaudits of the systems, including allbackups.
- Administration of Active Directorydomain controllers and grouppolicies.
- Administration of Microsoft Office365.
- Configuration and upgradation of Windowsand MAC based devices and their management centrally through SCCMand other similar solutions.
- Configuration andupgradation of mobile devices (iOS, Android) and their managementcentrally through Meraki MDM, Intune and other MDMsolutions.
- Set up user accounts andworkstations
- Support end users (password reset,lockunlock accounts etc)
- Implement the grouppolicies for user accounts andworkstations
- Administrating and maintaining thefile servers
- Monitoring and maintaining DR Site(Azure or other)
- Upgrade systems with newreleases, patches, and upgrades
- Support andresolve software and applicationissues
- Installation, configuration andmaintenance of Servers, Storage, Office 365, SCCM, Virtual Machinesand required web apps
- Configuration andmaintenance of back-up
- Troubleshooting, rootcause analysis and documentation of IT relatedissues
- Effective utilization of IT helpdesksolution for routine IT operations.
- Monitoringsystem performance
- Support site engineers withall the desktop applications, workstations and related equipmentproblems and resolve them in a timelymanner.
