Weare looking for a dedicated Manager Proc. SSEA CIS & MEACommercial to join the regional Procurement team based in Dubai. Asa Manager Proc. SSEA CIS & MEA Commercial you will beresponsible to build the regional categories deployment plans andimprove quality of market demand management.

Your day to day:

ACCOUNTABILITY 1
Category Strategy and Contribution & Risk Management
  • Formulate category strategies thatfits overall business functions strategies (regional) andobjectives that delivers cost effective solutions and providescommercial leadership in value management and other initiativesaimed at reducing the total cost ofownership.
  • Contribute to Global categorystrategy and orchestrate the necessary workshops Global categoriesand top Markets to develop the deployment plans and agree on costtargets. Prioritize together with Global Categories strategy rollout.
  • Accountable deploy risk managementstrategies in the regions and monitor risk to reduce potential riskexposure.

Sustainable ContributionPipeline
  • Develop and sustainlongrange incremental productivity pipeline focusing on Costreduction / prevention and collaborating with Markets inproductivities identification anddeployment
  • Identify opportunities ofstandardization of business requirements across the Region(wherever applicable) leverage on standardization to gain costefficiency within the regional spend.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Through robust governance frameworkget the region ready to deploy effective regional stakeholdermanagement framework to ensure buyin and qualitative deployment ofglobal / regional category sourcing strategies and deployment ofsourcing plans on regional and market levels.

Markets knowledge
  • Develop andcapitalize on market knowledge within assigned categories toanticipate Business needs and translate them into category andsourcing strategies.

Demand Management andSourcing Plan
  • Build category projectspipeline based on business stakeholders demands provided byProcurement Accounts. Focus on sustainable contribution valuecreation and boosting of category management standardizationleveraging on bestinclass practices. Ensure timely realization ofcategory sourcing plan.

RegionalSpend Management.
  • Through thedeployment framework enable Finance OB and RF cycles providinglatest updates on regional procurement contribution initiatives andcost information (cost drivers trends and materials/ servicesprices).

ACCOUNTABILITY 4
Negotiation & Partnership
  • Master negotiation and proactivelybuild cost category levers. Coordinate and steer criticalnegotiations and lead complex ones. Anticipate results and alignwith stakeholders on possible negotiationoutcomes.
  • Establish crossfunctional cooperationto boost cost efficiency (including productivity): idea generationfeasibility study and further realization.

ACCOUNTABILITY 5
Contractual Framework
  • Master legaltemplates to encompass local legislative requirements Businessneeds RSP principles IP rights company protection and exclusivityclauses. Escalation management of legal templates when applicable.
  • Drive the deployment of contractual models /golden samples with strategic suppliers and / or within strategicscope.

ACCOUNTABILITY 6
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
  • Formulates and implements supplierdevelopment strategies as part of each approved category strategyand builds relationships for the long term with key businesssuppliers.
Sustainability
  • Engage core suppliers and corebusiness stakeholders to generate and deploy Sustainabilityinitiatives. Accountable for region success on ZDM andRSP.

ACCOUNTABILITY 7
Procurement Process
  • Encourage a Leanway of working between categories and markets to improve currentway of working.

Who were lookingfor:
  • You have University degree inany relevant subject MBA degree or Diploma from a recognizedProcurement Institute is an asset
  • You have 10years of experience in procurement strategic role preferably acrosscommercial categories
  • Exposure to amultinational environment preferably within FMCGcompany
  • Indepth understanding of bestinclassprocurement practices (category management strategies bench markingshouldcost models RFx).
  • Exposure to amultinational environment.
  • Excellentinterpersonal and communications skills.
  • Provenability to adapt to a fast paced constantly changingenvironment.

The ideal candidatewill be an analytical leader with indirect procurement experiencein complex international and technical environments. The individualneeds strong communication skills and the experience to influenceand support crossfunctional stakeholder groups across all levels ofthe organization. The ideal candidate takes initiative anddemonstrates ownership in driving business goals while being agileto manage change in a rapidly developing IMS category/procurementorganization. Key leadership traits required include the ability toinfluence and form strong partnerships with local regional andglobal business leaders in managing multiple complex and competingpriorities simultaneously. The ideal candidate must have strongwritten and presentation skills.
