We are looking for a dedicated Manager IMS Procurement MENA Cluster to join the regional Procurement team for the MENA Cluster, based in Dubai.

As a Manager IMS Procurement MENA Cluster, you will be responsible for leading the definition and execution of the procurement activities under the cluster or under the local managed affiliates reporting to the Head of IMS Procurement SSEA, CIS & MEA Region. This role is the primary procurement point of contact for senior internal stakeholders (MD/MD-1) at cluster and at large affiliates.

Focus to lead strategic sourcing projects and manage key cluster suppliers in accordance with the global/regional/cluster procurement strategy. She/he will manage procurement direct reports within its cluster acting as a leader and as a point of reference, leverage business acumen to provide strategic thinking to assure, protect and create value to PMI. She/he will provide strategic guidance and direction for the team assigned, leading, and developing an adaptable and agile Procurement organization to deliver commercial acumen and service excellence.

Main Markets in scope: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, UAE

Your “day to day”:

- Ultimate responsible for the Affiliate (Market & Factories) spend - under the cluster - to be sourced with best value and service to PMI.
- Develop strong business partnership with business functions (MD/MD-1) within the cluster by aligning execution of regional strategies.
- Partner with cluster Senior stakeholders to resolve issues with critical vendors, help manage the relationship and identify business opportunities to reduce cost, address risks and protect margins.
- Lead the deployment of regional categories & Supply strategies for the assigned cluster.
- Direct the initiation and provide oversight of key procurement programs affecting the Cluster. Aggregate programs as a portfolio ensuring the portfolio deliver against the targets.
- Actively manage critical demand in the market and in strong collaboration with Global procurement Categories teams and local MD/MD-1 stakeholders in the market.
- Lead the segmentation strategy for the cluster of the regional supply base and establish different type of relationships. Define governance and escalation models to manage those relationships
- Capitalize on solid industry & track the business environment on an ongoing basis, assimilates and address changes in cluster stakeholders needs as well as special commercial opportunities.
- Perform best-in-class supplier evaluation & negotiation via analysis of supply & demand trends to bring best value to PMI.
- Use benchmarking opportunities to share thinking on improvement possibilities for the future (Reduce TCO/ address risk management/protect margins/ address inflation and markets headwinds).
- Establish solid relationship & governance with key/strategic suppliers to work on productivity, value creation and risk reduction initiatives.
- Provide direction to affiliates procurement teams by setting clear objectives, review achievements, assess development need and provide development opportunities.
- Master organization effectiveness and sustained talent pipeline /progression.
- Define & manage the functions' budget to keep within planned budget and to and to provide sufficient resources for required activities/needs.
- Lead, coach, motivate and guide a highly driven and capable learning teams to achieve PMI procurement strategies and objectives.
- Drive and implement sustainability programs in relevant categories and supply base: Ecovadis, RSP, CDP, CO2 reduction, deforestation free, SBTi and ensure that cluster sustainability targets are met.

Who we’re looking for:

- Master’s degree in Business Administration is required
- Diploma from a recognized Procurement Institute is an asset
- A minimum 8-10+ years' experience in a similar role with outstanding leadership skills
- Background preferred in FMCG/consumer electronics and familiar with regulatory environments
- Outstanding Communication skills in English is a must (Verbal and written)
- Strong understanding of how matrix organizations work with strong ability to establish a network across the organizations
- Business and Financial acumen (understanding of Business, financial model, operating models, budgeting, planning cycle, cash flow and capital investments US Gaap, Lease vs Buy)
- Excellent and Proven knowledge and Network of the industry(s) related to Operations and Non-Operations categories managed including, supplier
