The Employee Relations Manager will beresponsible for the delivery of efficient employee relationoperations and support to various business areas within the group.Lead a team of advisors/partners on all employee relations mattersacross Emirates/dnata. Use internal and external insights tocontinuously measure and develop Employee Relations processes toensure they are in line with company values and good practicestandards.

In this role you will:

  • Lead a team of EmployeeRelations Advisors/Partners responsible for guiding businessleaders on the application and interpretation of HR policies andprocedures in a fair and consistent manner that promotes positiveemployee relations.
  • Manage the daytodayoperations of the Employee Relations unit and plan the shortmediumterm direction of the function in accordance with the broader HRstrategy to ensure optimal customer service andproductivity.
  • Develop and mentor employeesthrough onboarding open communication training and developmentopportunities and performance management processes build andmaintain employee morale and motivation and ensures the team isappropriately staffed with requiredcompetencies.
  • Manage complex Employee Relationscases that have been escalated or assigned based on case type orother guidelines. Act as a liaison with Group Legal to addresscases that may result in potential legalaction.
  • Maintain strong working relationshipsthat include communication and collaboration with HR BusinessPartners HR Centers of Excellence and any other relevant teams toensure the provision of a positive and proactive employee relationsservice.
  • Design and measure key performanceindicators and design and maintain operational reports asappropriate. Drive continuous improvement and service deliveryexcellence within the HR functional area by ensuring awellcontrolled environment through effective processes workflow andtechnology.
  • Forecast volumes and monitorhandling of Employee Relations inquiries and provide input intobudget/resource needs.
  • Develop EmployeeRelations KPIs to monitor customer feedback Operation efficienciesteam feedback.
  • Lead other specialistcolleagues/teams within the Employee Relations Unit as appropriate(i.e. workforce management HR Analytics & Reportingetc).

Qualifications &Experience: To be considered for this role you must meet the belowrequirements:

  • Degree orHonours (123 or equivalent).
  • 8 years ofexperience in Employee Relations and HumanResources.
  • Minimum Bachelors levelqualification in a related field.
  • Post graduatequalification in a HR specific field would be considered anasset.
  • Progressive experience in a HRrole.
  • In depth knowledge of EmploymentRelations practice.
  • Customer focused with anunderstanding of how to design and manage services that reflect anddeliver against a wide range of customerneeds.
  • Ability to build relationships andcommunicate at all levels within anorganisation.
  • Flexible approach to problemsolving balancing policy best practice legal and business issues toprovide pragmatic solutions.
  • Insight driven andat ease with data and analytics to demonstrate impact and return oninvestment.
  • Inspiring leader with an ability toengage their team and the widerorganisation.
  • Ability to set up and manageprojects in a live environment.
  • Able to useinitiative and take responsibility with a positive cando attitudeto deliver effective results.
  • Selfmotivatedwith an intellectual curiosity a strong growth mindset and thedesire to constantly improve.
