  • Negotiate room rates/packages withcorporate clients.
  • Produce accurate and timelyreports that meet the needs of the Director of Sales including thereporting of appointments, calls made and businesslead.
  • Maintain valid call objectives andrelevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensureall follow up is done in timelymanner.
  • Proactively prospecting new accountsfor the hotel and follow the sales process through to convert into‘producing’ accounts.
  • Takepersonal responsibility to ensure that all accounts are properlyupdated in the system and that the system is utilized to its fullcapacity.
  • Maintain up-to-date activity and rateinformation for each account.
  • Answer customerqueries in a prompt and professionalmanner
  • Conduct daily salescalls.
  • Understand and be in a position toaction any group and event enquiry and ensure accurate hand overfor follow up to Inspired Meeting team.
  • Toactively support both: the Assistant Sales Manager and SalesCo-coordinator to carry out their roles effectively (i.e. byensuring there are enough sales kits available for the week,etc)
  • Communicating client requirements in atimely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required,ensuring delivery of superior guestservice.
  • Ensure accurate follow up andcommunication both internally to reservations and accountingdepartments, and confirmation to client.
  • Ensureproperty rates sheets are accurate at alltimes.
  • Communicate any obstacles to completingaction plans to Director of Sales
  • To arrangeand manage familiarization / educational trips in line withbusiness needs.
