Job Description ProcurementCoordinator
Fugro Middle East has an exciting opportunity for a highlymotivated and enthusiastic ProcurementCoordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working in IFS andthe procurement process as well as developing strategies for costreduction supplier consolidation and quality improvements. Theywill negotiate with suppliers issue timely purchase orders to meetproject requirements and ensure that goods and services aredelivered on schedule.

The role will involve working closely with colleagues in theProject team Operations department and Commercial team incountryand regionally to ensure support is provided where needed.

Job responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the purchase of products and services in theorganization ensuring that quality products and services areprocured with the best reasonable price.
  • Review procurementrequisitions in accordance with organizational requirements sourcesgoods and services from.
  • Perform cost benefitanalysis on planned acquisitions.
  • Develop and implementprocurement plans as per organization requirements.
  • Identify new potentialvendors for strategic sourcing.
  • Develop longtermpartnerships with local and foreign suppliers.
  • Reconcile vendoraccounts for pending materials and payments.
  • Review productavailability and/or pricing information with suppliers.
  • Track and maintaininventory levels in the stores for all items required ensuringoptimum use of inventory.
  • Coordinate dailyprocurement activities and logistics.
  • Monitor and control database documents and correspondence relatedto procurement and logistics.
  • Monitor quality ofprocured materials. Develop cost reduction cost avoidance and costcontainment program.
  • Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understoodimplemented and adhered to by all employees.
  • Undertaking anyadditional responsibilities assigned by Procurement Manager.

You bring (qualifications & experience)
  • Bachelors degree in CIPS Finance or Engineering diploma.
  • Minimum 3 yearsexperience.
  • Strongability and willingness to learn from experience adapt and embracenew situations. Being open to new experiences people andinformation. Desire to excel and grow new skills.
  • Strong communicatorand promotes open communication across the organization. Empowers& connects other people with positive impact providesenergy and demonstrates passion trust & respect.
  • Takes ownership andinitiative acts with confidence and works under own direction. Isable to make prompt and clear decisions which may involve thoughchoices or considered risk
