MISSIONS:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated International Business Development Director to join our team in Dubai. The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving business growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base. Her/His primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the transportation sector, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and maximizing revenue generation.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities by proactively engaging with potential clients, including government agencies, transportation authorities, Contractors, partners... Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through effective lead generation and conversion strategies. Initiate the contacts with the relevant business unit Managers/Directors who will lead the proposal preparation and operation. Participate in Bid-No Bid and Go-No Go reviews. Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address client needs and maximize success rates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various geographies, including engineering, project management, and marketing, to leverage expertise and resources in business development activities. Organizing Bidding Committees whenever applicable to approve bids submission. Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high client satisfaction, repeat business, and client referrals. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders/partners. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and build industry connections. Provide guidance and support to the business development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Monitor and analyze business development activities, track key performance indicators, and report progress to senior management. Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify areas of improvement and refine business development strategies. Present the Business Development strategy analysis to the management, including potential acquisitions. PROFILE: Bachelor\'s degree/ Master\'s degree in Engineering, Business, or any other related field Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Business development Experience in Business development for consultants and/or Design and Build Contractor in the field of land transport. Experience in various geographies is a plus. Experience with Design and Build contractors and International Financial Institutions is a plus. Good ability to research, build a network or expand an existing network, good presentation skills, are required Ability to start development of activities in new territory, with new partners and new clients In-depth knowledge of the public transportation sector Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at various levels. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, conduct research, and make data-driven decisions. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment and lead cross-functional initiatives. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events. Full professional proficiency in English is required, speaking Arabic or other languages is a plus.
