The ideal candidatewill have an exceptional understanding of cybersecurity solutions, extensivemarket and vendor knowledge, and a demonstrated ability to craft and delivercompelling pitches to potential clients. The Senior Cybersecurity Pre-SalesSpecialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our pre-sales strategy, drivingbusiness growth, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective pre-salesactivities.Key Responsibilities
o
Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead all pre-salesactivities partnering with account managers to achieve required targets andproviding technical guidance and mentorship.
o
Solution Development: Collaborate with the salesand technical teams to architect and customize innovative and tailoredcybersecurity solutions that meet the specific needs of potential clients.
o
Market and Vendor Knowledge: Stay up to datewith cybersecurity market trends, emerging threats, competitive intelligence,and a comprehensive understanding of various cybersecurity vendors and theirproduct portfolios.
o
Pitching and Presentation: Create and delivercompelling technical presentations to clients, effectively communicating thetechnical aspects and value of our cybersecurity solutions.
o
Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team,providing technical expertise and addressing client inquiries during the salesprocess to position our solutions effectively. Proposal technical architecture,review and preparation.
o
Customer Relationship Management: Build andmaintain strong client relationships, providing post-sale technical support,and ensuring customer satisfaction through in-depth technical knowledge.
o
Budget Management: Manage pre-sales budgets,including resource allocation and ROI analysis for technical solutions.
o
Team Development: Identify training anddevelopment opportunities for the pre-sales team to enhance their technicalskills and knowledge.
o
Technical Reporting: Provide regular technicalreports and updates on pre-sales activities, including performance metrics andmarket insights, to senior management.RequirementsTechnical Skills:1. Deep Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate shouldpossess a profound understanding of the end to end cybersecurity portfolio ofproducts. They should be able to explain the technical intricacies of thesesolutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.2. Security Architecture Knowledge: Strong knowledge ofsecurity architecture and the ability to design comprehensive securitysolutions that address client-specific needs. This includes expertise in fundamentalareas such network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and dataprotection among others.3. Certifications: A strong technical background is oftencomplemented by industry-recognized certifications such as CertifiedInformation Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified InformationSecurity Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or vendor-specificcertifications from leading cybersecurity solution providers.5. Threat Intelligence: In-depth knowledge of cybersecuritythreats and vulnerabilities, with the ability to stay ahead of emerging threatsand recommend appropriate technical countermeasures. Able to conductvulnerability assessments, and other security pre-sales tactics at clients.Market and Client Knowledge:6. Market Trends: A strong understanding of current andemerging cybersecurity market trends in UAE and (GCC/Globally is a plus) includingknowledge of new trends and technologies/vendors, industry-specific challenges,and compliance requirements. This knowledge enables the candidate to tailortechnical solutions to address evolving client needs.7. Vendors Landscape: A comprehensive understanding of thevendors landscape in UAE and other markets, including knowledge of majorcybersecurity solution providers, their product portfolios, and their relativestrengths and weaknesses. This knowledge helps in recommending the mostsuitable technical solutions for clients.8. Industry-Specific Expertise: Knowledge of specificindustries (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing) and the unique technicaland regulatory challenges they face. The ability to align technical solutionswith industry-specific needs is essential.9. Client-Centric Approach: A strong client-centric focus,with knowledge of UAE clients landscape the ability to listen to clienttechnical requirements, identify technical pain points, and recommend technicalsolutions that meet their technical and security objectives.10. Technical Sales Experience: A track record of technicalpre-sales success, including the ability to collaborate with the sales team towin technical deals, effectively communicate the value and develop the righttechnical solutions.11. Regulatory Compliance: A strong understanding ofindustry-specific regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) and thetechnical solutions necessary to ensure technical compliance. This knowledge iscritical for technical solutions tailored to clients in regulated industries.12. Client/Vendor Relationship Management: Experience inbuilding and maintaining strong client/vendors relationships, serving as atechnical advisor, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfactionthrough a deep technical understanding of client needs.13. Technical Innovation: The ability to introduceinnovative technical solutions, tools, or methodologies that enhance technicalcapabilities and meet clients' evolving technical requirements.The Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Specialist should havethe technical expertise to understand and communicate complex cybersecuritysolutions effectively. They should also be well-versed in market trends andclient-specific needs, ensuring that the technical solutions they propose alignwith the technical, regulatory, and strategic goals of clients.
