A world without waste.Role SummaryAs the Finance System Specialist, your primary responsibility will be utilizing Power BI to analyze financial and operational data quickly, focusing on time-sensitive insights. Proficiency in Oracle systems, SQL query writing, and a solid understanding of accounting principles are imperative for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesCreates Power BI Dashboards utilizing DAX (especially Time Intelligence formulas) to conduct value-added financial and operational KPI analysis.Confidently navigates through Oracle systems/tables.Writes Oracle SQL queries (SELECT) to extract data from Oracle & operational systems.Familiar with Data languages such as Python, R Studio, Stata, and VBA is advantageous.Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows analysis.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance/ Computer Science Experience Minimum of 3yrs of hands-on experience utilizing Power BI/Oracle/SAP/SAGETechnical Competencies Excellent knowledge of Power BiStrong interpersonal skills to work sensitively within a multicultural environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).Working knowledge in ERP Applications (Oracle, SAP, SAGE).If you think you have what it takes to make the world a cleaner place, if you can see value where others see waste and if you aren’t afraid of a challenge, why not start your journey with us today.Averda welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, actively promotes diversity in the workforce, and is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
