With integrated aspenONE solutions, process manufacturers can implement best practices for optimizing their engineering, manufacturing and supply chain operations. As a result, AspenTech customers are better able to increase capacity, improve margins, reduce costs and become more energy efficient.The role Sales Account Executive is a Senior role in the Aspen Technology Sales group and is responsible for selling software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts. Your ImpactAchieve quarterly and annual sales quotaAchieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development.Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resourcesProvide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, etc.Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams.Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities.Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts.What You'll NeedDemonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions.Extensive experience selling to customers in the
Energy/Petroleum/Engineering
industry.Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns.Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Personal computer literacy.University degree preferredSelf-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.Additional consideration for candidates with:Chemical Engineering or relevant technical degreeSpecific industry knowledge and experienceFamiliarity with Aspen or similar products
