Trade Finance officer, (Finance, Oil, Trading, structured), Location; UAE – Dubai.We are currently working with a fast-growing commodities trading company based in Dubai, UAE, who are seeking a trade finance officer to join their growing business. The ideal candidate for the position will be a high-energy, results-driven professional with good business acumen and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should have an aptitude for working as a team, be eager to learn and develop, and have an eye for new ideas and ongoing growth.As a trade finance officer, the ideal candidate will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions. The individual is required to obtain credit lines, and manage trade finance operations, as well as a strong understanding of the energy trading market.Responsibilities• Establish and maintain professional relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure financial services and credit lines.• Secure and manage revolving credit facilities, short-term loans, and other financial instruments necessary for the company's trading operations.• Apply, negotiate, and issue key banking documents including LC Terms and Conditions.• Responsible for discounting LCs and issuing bank guarantees as per business requirements.• Monitor and maintain the trade finance flows and ensure compliance with trade finance facilities agreements.• Set up relevant financial structures for all transactions in order to minimize risk, optimize working capital and reduce financing cost.Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field• 3 - 5 years of experience minimum in Trade Finance within an oil trading company.• Experience with contracts and bank facility documentation.• Experience with project management.• Highly energetic with good personal skills• Good analytics and application of data-based decision making.• Currently based in Dubai, UAE.This role will offer a talented and experienced trade finance officer the chance to develop their career with a fast-growing commodity trading company.
