One of our companies which specializes in production of high quality PET preforms and PP/HDPE closures is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to join our team. About the role:The Head of Sales has the primary role of leading the sales department, overseeing activities of the sales team professionals and monitoring performance as a whole. The Head of Sales defines and communicates the business’s KPIs and targets to the sales personnel on a regular basis, analyses patterns in consumer and market behavior, and subsequently defines data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business’s commercial performance.What we are looking for:You will have in-depth knowledge of PET (preforms & closures) /beverage industry within MENA region, strategic thinking and excellent customer relationship management.Our current product range serves the still and carbonated beverage segment, with various neck finishes, including usage of PET. To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to drive growth, navigate market challenges and bring sales revenues by adapting and using innovative sales approaches to stay ahead in a competitive market. Willingness to travel within the region is required.What We Offer:- Opportunity to lead and make an impact in a well-established organization within a competitive industry.- A challenging and rewarding role with the potential for career advancement.- Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.- Supportive corporate culture that values innovation and performance.Key Duties and Responsibilities:-Lead and oversee the sales department's targets by examining growth opportunities and expansion of sales in new geographical areas across GCC and MENA region, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department’s performance against targets.-Use expertise and experience in negotiating contracts and closing deals to bring new business, increase sales revenue and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.-Work closely along with the senior management to create and implement sales action plans that incorporate key actions that work to set KPI’s for the business.-Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders through understanding customer needs and offer solutions tailored to those needs.-Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improving of sales and business profits.-Manage the departmental calendar in regard to trading priorities inclusive of launches, promotions, exclusives, and campaign activities for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities. -Introduce new brands and categories to the market by leading the sales team in product launches.-Implement sales strategies that further the department’s agenda and drive enhanced revenue generation for the business.-Collaborate and team up with the product development departments in creating product intelligence, for example, product/brand adjacencies, affinities, display rules, conducting trend analysis, and ensuring that these are aligned to support and drive sales and conversion.Main Skills and Competencies:-Exceptional communication skills, adept at presenting to different audiences from technical teams to executive level decision makers.-Strong understanding of PET (closures & preforms) /beverage industry customer and market dynamics.-Proven leadership and ability to drive and motivate sales team.-Competent at using CRM and other sales tools for reporting, forecasting and sales analysis.-Ability to communicate complex technical information about PET (preforms and closures) clearly and persuasively.-Highly competent in negotiation and sales closure, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.Experience: 15 years of expertise and exposure within GCC / MENA region is preferred.Education: BA Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics.
