As they continue to grow and evolve, we're searching for an experienced and Chief Commercial Officer who will be based in Dubai, UAE.Role Overview:As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring a consistent customer experience across all markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the travel industry and a proven ability to lead high-performing commercial teams.Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth across all markets. Collaborate with the executive team to align commercial goals with the overall business objectives. Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.Partnership Development & Management: Lead the development of strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders. Negotiate and secure favorable commercial terms with partners to maximize revenue and profitability. Monitor and manage partner performance, ensuring adherence to contracts and service-level agreements.Sales & Revenue Management: Oversee the sales function, ensuring effective account management, customer acquisition, and retention strategies. Implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory. Analyze market trends and customer insights to refine sales tactics and improve conversion rates.Marketing & Brand Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support commercial objectives. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all customer touchpoints. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to inform future campaigns.Commercial Operations & Customer Experience: Lead efforts to enhance the customer experience, ensuring a seamless journey across all stages of travel planning. Streamline commercial operations, optimizing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and profitability. Monitor key commercial KPIs and provide regular performance updates to the executive team.Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members. Promote cross-functional collaboration to support the broader goals of the organization.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 12+ years of progressive commercial experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the Hospitality, Airline, or Travel Arrangements industries is a must. Experience with OTA is also a must. Proven expertise in commercial strategy, sales, and partnership development. Strong understanding of the travel and technology sectors. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and drive change. Data-driven decision-making skills with a customer-centric approach. Excellent command of English.
