About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Catalogue Support Specialist to support in maintaining and optimizing our Shopify product catalogue. You'll play a key role in executing daily catalogue operations, ensuring product accuracy, applying metafields and filters, and supporting improvements to product and category pages. This role is critical in delivering a seamless shopping experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
Product Creation & Maintenance

  • Product uploads, setup, and publishing on Shopify.
  • Maintain and update product details, including descriptions, pricing, SKUs, and inventory.
  • Ensure correct use of Shopify metafields for advanced product attributes.
  • Assist in organizing collections, tags, and filters for easy product navigation.

Catalogue Optimization

  • Help optimize product pages for SEO, readability, and customer experience.
  • Support improvements in product filtering, sorting, and catalogue structure.
  • Conduct regular checks for missing data, duplicates, or broken links.
  • Work with imagery and assets to maintain brand consistency across product listings.

Customer Experience Support

  • Monitor product and category pages to identify areas for improvement.
  • Help implement enhancements that improve discoverability, product information, and navigation.
  • Gather insights on product performance and support testing new catalogue features.

Website Merchandising

  • Support the execution of merchandising strategies to highlight key products, seasonal assortments, and promotions.
  • Assist in curating homepage, landing pages, and category layouts to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure product displays align with brand campaigns.
  • Analyze merchandising performance metrics and recommend adjustments to improve conversion and sales.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience working with Shopify.
  • Basic knowledge of Shopify metafields, filters, product taxonomy, and catalogue structure.
  • Familiarity with Shopify apps and their integrations to enhance functionality and streamline processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and CSV import/export.
  • Familiarity with SEO basics and product page optimization.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic photoshop editing skills.
