Job description: An Engineering background professional for Management of Turnkey Contracting Projects (Fit-Out / Interiors / Civil Works)

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Enigneer with strong leadership and technical expertise in Trunkey Projects from Design & Conceptualization to shell and core and Fit-Out and Interior execution.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project administration, from planning and scheduling to contract management, procurement, value engineering, and delivery.

He will act as the key link between management, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Control

  • Develop comprehensive project schedules and milestones using Primavera P6 and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, and cost overruns early and implement mitigation measures.
  • Maintain a full project dashboard for management reporting.

Technical & Site Management

  • Supervise project execution for all fit-out and interior works (joinery, partitions, finishes, MEP coordination).
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, materials, and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality control reviews, and progress meetings.
  • Coordinate between consultants, designers, and subcontractors to resolve design or site issues.

Contract & Administrative Management

  • Review and interpret contract clauses, ensuring full compliance and protecting company interests.
  • Prepare and manage variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondence.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely documentation and payments.
  • Ensure all required approvals, permits, and handover documentation are obtained on schedule.

Procurement & Value Engineering

  • Evaluate materials, finishes, and methods to reduce cost and optimize value without compromising quality.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and subcontractors to achieve best value for money.

Leadership & Communication

  • Lead project teams with firmness, fairness, and professionalism.
  • Enforce discipline, accountability, and high standards among project staff and subcontractors.
  • Maintain proactive communication with management, clients, and consultants.
  • Ensure that all administrative reports and progress updates are accurate and timely.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction/Fit-Out / Interiors Project Management within the UAE.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
  • Solid understanding of contractual administration (FIDIC or Design & Build).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects before time and below budget through value engineering.
  • UAE Driving License is a must.
