Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Planning Engineer
with strong expertise in
Primavera P6
to join our project management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery across all phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update
    project schedules
    using
    Primavera P6
    .
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to gather inputs for accurate planning.
  • Prepare detailed
    baseline programs
    ,
    look-ahead schedules
    , and
    progress updates
    .
  • Identify critical paths, project risks, and delays; propose recovery actions and mitigation plans.
  • Track project progress and generate
    weekly and monthly reports
    on schedule performance.
  • Assist in preparing
    extension of time (EOT)
    claims and delay analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
    in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4
    + years
    of experience in planning/scheduling in the
    construction industry
    .
  • Proficient in
    Primavera P6
    (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of
    project lifecycle
    , construction workflows, and scheduling methodologies.
  • Experience in preparing
    EOT claims
    , delay analysis, and resource histograms.
  • Strong proficiency in
    MS Excel
    ,
    MS Project
    , and report generation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
