Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Civil Engineer based in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including stormwater management and infrastructure development. The role involves leading project teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing all aspects of construction projects, from conception to completion. The Senior Civil Engineer will also collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including structural and site development
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in construction projects within the UAE
  • Strong expertise in Civil Engineering principles and practices
  • Proficient in
    AutoCAD
    ; knowledge of Primavera / MS Project is an advantage
  • Experience in Planning and managing project timelines and resources
  • Experience in
    residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
    (as applicable)
  • Familiarity with
    UAE construction standards, local authority regulations, and codes.
  • Ability to interpret
    approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs
    accurately
  • Knowledge of Stormwater Management systems and related engineering practices
  • Effective collaboration skills to work with Civil Engineers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required
  • Professional certifications, such as PE or equivalent, are an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • UAE driving license is mandatory
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
  • Immediate or short notice availability is an advantage
