Responsibilities

• Core hours of covering the US shift with responsibility of covering EU or APAC shifts when required.
• Accountable to Head of Trading for PnL and risk management across all business lines and asset classes, adhering to all company risk management policies
• Work closely with Quantitative Risk Management division to optimise company revenue performance
• Liaise with retail, B2B and Institutional Sales and Business Development departments in onboarding process
• Assist in ongoing project work to develop new products and trading/risk management tools
• Ensure risk limits are adhered to and all procedures are carried out to the highest standard
• Participate in new product release process; product specification, price provision and product management
• Monitor order execution and price distribution across the group
• Assist with the development of trading room practices and procedures; ensuring all process documents are kept up-to-date and in line with regulation and Equiti group policy
• Ongoing analytics to ensure book segmentation remains optimal
• Monitor pricing and risk algorithms for post trade order execution methods
• Aid Trading Operations on any issues related to reconciliation, swaps, dividends, futures expiries, instrument setups, sweeps, market holidays.
• Be a point of contact for other Equiti teams to aid them with trading related queries
• Participate in regulatory led projects and internal workflow structures to stay abreast of global regulatory developments

Experience Requirements

• Full working knowledge and experience of the MT4/MT5 suite
• Thorough understanding of how to market make FX, Indices, commodities, & equities
• Proficient in Excel
• Big data analysis and client profiling
• Working knowledge of PXM/OneZero a plus
