Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Junior Marine Lubricants Trader to join our Dubai office. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a long-term career in marine lubricants trading within a fast-paced, international maritime environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior traders in handling marine lubricants enquiries and quotations.
- Communicate with ship owners, ship managers, charterers, and local agents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, blenders, and internal operations teams for availability and pricing.
- Prepare and follow up on commercial offers, confirmations, and nominations.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, offers, and concluded deals.
- Monitor vessel schedules, ETAs, and port requirements.
- Support post-fixture activities including documentation and coordination.
- Develop market knowledge of marine lubricants grades, specifications, and equivalents.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in marine lubricants, bunkering, shipping, or commodity trading (fresh graduates with strong interest are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of marine lubricants, vessel operations, or maritime trade is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and professional email correspondence.
- Commercial mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in trading.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
