We are looking for a dynamic Freelance Events Production Director with solid experience in managing luxury events. The Events Production Director is responsible for the overall planning, coordinating and execution of events. Will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, goals and needs and develop and implement a plan accordingly that will ensure the event is successful. This role entails developing ideas for the event, overseeing functions and supervising the production of the event.

Desired skills & responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end production of events including luxury, lifestyle, and brand activations.
  • Develop detailed production timelines, floor plans, and schedules.
  • Ensure seamless on-site execution, managing set-up, live event operations, and dismantling.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align on event concept and delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on production-related matters.
  • Manage client expectations and provide solutions to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to secure high-quality services at competitive rates.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to maximize value.
  • Oversee logistics including permits, health & safety, risk assessments, and insurance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior events staff, and on-site crew, as needed
  • Work closely with the Events Director and team to align strategy with execution.
  • Ensure effective communication across departments for flawless event delivery.
  • Stay up to date on event industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Continuously suggest innovative concepts and solutions to elevate event experiences.
  • Guarantee high production standards and client satisfaction.

Requirements & Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in events production/management (luxury background is a MUST).
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale events end-to-end.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel when required.
