Role Overview
ADAB Events is looking for a high-energy, ambitious individual to serve as the right hand to our Sales Director. This is a hybrid role for a "doer"—someone who can handle detailed administrative work (tenders and vendor registrations) in the morning and switch to high-paced sales support and on-site event coordination in the afternoon. You must be eager to learn, holding a valid UAE driving license, and ready to move fast.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Support & Business Development (The Driver)

  • Act as the primary support to the Sales Director, managing daily schedules, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct cold calls and initial outreach to prospective clients to set up meetings.
  • Attend client meetings with the Director to capture briefs, take minutes, and ensure all action items are executed.
  • Assist in drafting proposals and writing professional emails/correspondence on behalf of the team.

2. Commercial Administration (The Detail)

  • Vendor Registration:
    Manage the company's registration on government and private sector vendor portals (e.g., SAP Ariba, Tezcom, government supplier lists).
  • Tender Management:
    Monitor tender platforms daily for new opportunities; download tender documents and assist in preparing the required compliance files for submission.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all company legal documents, certifications, and client contracts.

3. Event Operations & Coordination (The Action)

  • Coordinate directly with vendors, contractors, and third-party suppliers to ensure event deliverables are met.
  • Provide on-site support during exhibitions and events (requires flexibility with hours).
  • Liaise between the internal team and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    1–3 years in Events, Exhibitions, or a Commercial Support role.
  • License:
    Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory
    (you will be on the road for meetings and site visits).
  • Language:
    Fluent in English (Written & Spoken). Arabic is a strong plus (especially for tender documentation).
  • Tech Savvy:
    Comfortable navigating government portals, vendor platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Soft Skills:
    High energy, "thick skin" for cold calling, and the ability to work under pressure.
