Our client, a leading name in premium event production and experiential design, is seeking a visionary Director of Event Production to lead their regional operations across Dubai and Saudi Arabia. This role offers the opportunity to shape the creative and operational direction of a business unit known for delivering high-end, world-class events.

You will have full strategic, operational, and financial responsibility, guiding a talented team of producers, designers, and technical specialists. The ideal candidate will bring both entrepreneurial drive and leadership discipline, ensuring flawless execution, commercial success, and continued innovation in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the business unit's strategic direction, performance, and growth.
  • Develop and execute business plans and ensure delivery against key performance indicators.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L with full accountability for financial results.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the luxury events market across Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
  • Strengthen client relationships and act as key contact for VIP and strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop growth strategies and promote cross-unit cooperation.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the event production team, driving accountability and professional growth.
  • Set clear objectives, streamline processes, and ensure consistent communication and collaboration.

Your Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in event production, large-scale contracting, exhibition fit-out, or experiential design, ideally at Director or Managing Director level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving business growth, securing high-value contracts, and achieving profitability.
  • Extensive understanding of production lifecycles, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Deep technical and creative insight into event production disciplines – from stage design and rigging to lighting, video, and show management.
  • Demonstrated success in building client relationships at executive and brand-director level, particularly within luxury and high-end markets.
  • Knowledge of regional business practices, legal frameworks, and compliance requirements across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel between Dubai and Saudi Arabia as required.
