Freelance Event Site Manager

Desert Snow is seeking highly skilled, hands-on, and dependable
Freelance Event Site Managers
to support our production and technical teams across UAE and the wider GCC for the Winter Season 2025/26. This role is ideal for someone with strong on-site operational experience who can lead installation and dismantling activities, coordinate teams, and ensure that all event builds are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Our head office in Dubai services the entire MENA region, undertaking projects of all sizes in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Egypt.

The Role:

We're looking for highly organised, proactive Site Managers to join our team Part part-time. This role is at the heart of our event delivery—making sure the logistics, scheduling, suppliers, and on-site support all come together seamlessly. You'll present DesertSnow on-site and will work closely with our Production Manager, warehouse, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects moving and ensure flawless execution.

This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and loves solving problems with calm, creative thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Site Management:
    Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities during event installation and dismantling.
  • Team Coordination:
    Manage and guide on-site staff, technicians, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and maintain safety standards.
  • Client & Vendor Liaison:
    Act as the main point of contact between DesertSnow and the client, managing suppliers on-site to ensure seamless communication.
  • Logistics Oversight:
    Manage site access, deliveries, material handling, and storage according to event layout and schedule.
  • Quality Control:
    Ensure all installations meet company and client standards for safety, functionality, and presentation.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    Enforce site safety rules, monitor risks, and report any incidents.
  • Reporting:
    Provide daily progress updates, issue logs, and completion reports to the project or production manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an
    Event Site Manager
    ,
    Event Production Coordinator
    , or similar on-site role.
  • Strong understanding of
    event setup and technical operations
    .
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams under tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of
    HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
    standards.
  • Available for flexible working hours, including weekends and travel.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Freelance Visa/legal working visa with EID

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in
    large-scale events, exhibitions, or installations
    (e.g., festivals, corporate events, public activations).
  • Background in
    production management
    .
  • Certification in
    first aid
    or
    site safety
    is an advantage.
  • Experience with software systems such as , Rentman or similar
