Job Description: Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities. You will work closely with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to develop and implement construction plans and schedules.
  • Monitor and inspect construction sites regularly to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction workers and subcontractors, resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all on-site activities, including daily progress reports, material inspections, and quality control checks.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project updates, resolve issues, and ensure effective coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, cost estimates, and other project-related documentation to the project manager.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in construction engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
