Role Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Co-Founder to lead the entire marketing function end-to-end and work closely with the founder to grow L&D Nexus. This is an equity-based role, with the potential to transition to a paid role once the startup secures funding.

As Marketing Co-Founder, you will take ownership of the marketing strategy, execution, and growth while contributing to the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own end-to-end marketing strategy, including brand positioning, user acquisition, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
  • Plan, execute, and track marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Build and manage content, social media, PR, and communications for the company.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business development and partnerships through marketing.
  • Set and track KPIs and metrics to measure marketing impact and optimize strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to align marketing with overall business goals.

Requirements

5+ years of

  • experience in marketing strategy, growth, and execution (preferably in startups, SaaS, EdTech, or B2B).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, leadership, and risk-taking ability.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content creation, and performance tracking.
  • Experience in partnership marketing and business development is a plus.
  • Ability to commit significant time and effort (full-time or near full-time) in building the startup.
  • Passion for startup environments and working on equity-based compensation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, willing to work closely with the founder.

Equity & Investment Structure

  • This role is equity-only initially, structured via Convertible Notes or SAFE agreements.
  • Potential to transition to a paid role after funding, based on company growth and contribution.
  • Long-term upside in equity value, leadership opportunities, and strategic influence.
