The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising on-site installation activities for Faham Group's wall, door, and closet systems. This role ensures that installations are carried out in line with approved drawings and specifications, coordinates between internal teams and site personnel, and provides constructive feedback for product and workflow enhancement based on field execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Installation Supervision

  • Execute and monitor day-to-day installation work at project sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical details, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the installation team to ensure materials, tools, and manpower are available and deployed effectively.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to Faham's standards and specifications.

2. Technical Coordination

  • Review shop drawings and BOQs before and during execution to ensure accuracy on site.
  • Communicate and escalate any technical discrepancies, design mismatches, or unforeseen site conditions.
  • Support resolution of NCRs and maintain redline drawings for post-installation submission.

3. Workflow & Product Improvement Suggestions

  • Document recurring installation challenges or site-level inefficiencies.
  • Propose actionable improvements to enhance product fitment, material compatibility, or process flow.
  • Submit feedback to the Engineering and QA teams for future design or process optimisation.

4. Client and Site Interface

  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and client representatives for approvals and clarifications.
  • Attend site meetings and technical briefings; ensure installation plans are understood and executed.
  • Provide professional support during handover, including snagging and final fixes.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily site logs, attendance records, and installation progress reports.
  • Submit weekly reports highlighting completed works, pending tasks, risks, and support requirements.
