Job Summary

The Renewal Team Leader is responsible for managing the end-to-end lease renewal process, leading a team of Renewal Agents, coordinating with landlords and tenants, and ensuring timely renewals in compliance with company and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of Renewal Agents handling daily and monthly lease renewals.
  • Ensure all lease renewals are completed before the lease expiry date.
  • Post lease expiry, coordinate with the Legal Team for renewal payment follow-up or eviction procedures if payment is not received.
  • Coordinate with landlords to obtain rent approvals and renewal terms.
  • Communicate approved rents (as per Management or Landlord approval) to tenants.
  • Send renewal reminders to tenants 95 days prior to lease expiry.
  • Prepare and share weekly and monthly renewal status reports with landlords.
  • Prepare renewal status reports
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly renewal-related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure all valid and mandatory renewal documents are collected at the time of renewal; follow up on pending documents and ensure completion within 3 months.
  • Handle walk-in tenants and attend calls related to rent negotiation, lease cancellation, and penalty charges.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in property management, leasing, or real estate operations
  • Prior experience leading a team handling renewals or contracts
