This senior role combines strategic commercial oversight with operational excellence to maximize project value and organizational profitability.What your day-to-day will look like: Commercial Strategy & ManagementManage project budgets, forecasting and financial performance monitoringLead tender preparation, pricing strategies, and bid submissionsOversee contract negotiations, risk assessment, and commercial termsEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial governanceBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and market sectorsBuild and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholdersLead strategic partnerships and joint venture negotiationsRepresent the company at industry events and client presentationsDrive revenue growth and market share expansionTeam LeadershipLead and expand the site commercial teamEstablish commercial processes, procedures and best practicesFoster a culture of commercial excellence and continuous improvementRisk & Performance ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risksOversee claims management, variations, and dispute resolutionMonitor project margins, cash flow, and profitability KPIsImplement commercial controls and reporting systemsEnsure projects deliver within budget and timeline parametersRequired Skills and Experience:Education & Professional CredentialsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldProfessional membership: MRICSRelevant commercial/contracts certificationsExperience12+ years of commercial experience in construction industry5+ years of experience in the UAE with an in depth knowledge of the local construction market8+ years' experience working for tier 1 international Cost Management companiesExperience in managing projects at a programme level for large scale masterplansProven track record managing large-scale residential construction projects ($1Bn+)Experience across multiple construction sectors (commercial, residential, infrastructure)Strong background in contract administration and commercial lawDesired or preferred experience and technical skills: Advanced knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)Expert-level commercial and financial acumenStrong negotiation and relationship management skillsBoard level presentationsExcellent written/verbal and presentation communication abilitiesStrategic thinking with attention to operational detailsLocation: On-site –Dubai, AREIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.  We're interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the tableJLL Privacy NoticeJones Lang LaSalle (JLL), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
