International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is Commercial Banking’s international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Commercial Banking (CMB) customers within the Large Corporate and Mid
- Market Enterprise segments. The International Subsidiary Banking strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The ISB business is a significant contributor of revenue to CMB and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Relationship Manager, ISB based in Dubai.

**In this role, you will**:

- Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted acquisition of new quality customers
- Proactively grow international and cross border revenue and assist the team deliver key business development initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with other Global Businesses, Product and Service Partners to identify opportunities to connect customers to opportunities and strengthen the relationship
- Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer information, including Know your Customer (KYC) requirements, in Group systems
- Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business e.g. economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements
- Deliver a high quality service by owning customer engagement, striving for excellence in all interactions with (prospective) customer or other professionals, and always acting according to the highest professional standards
- Maintain a proactive calling programme to service clients, ensuring senior management and key stakeholders for large corporate clients are contacted regularly
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
- Take personal responsibility for understanding and agreeing performance expectations, completing the necessary mandatory training and developing the levels of capability and competence needed to be effective in the role
- Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making

Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:

- Knowledge of the Commercial Banking market
- Basic understanding of banking specially risk management, operational and regulatory, credit analysis and judgmental lending
- Have ability to build strong, lasting relationships with internal and external parties
- Basic understanding of risk management and credit mitigants with a commercial acumen
- Strong knowledge of Bank’s structures, processes and procedures with ability to navigate in a complex matrixed environment
- Customer driven with a proactive approach, strong sales, marketing orientation and entrepreneurial spirit
- Sound Knowledge of the UAE business environment is an asset
- Good prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities
- Graduation degree is a must - to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
